recreating a University Talent Accelerator

Ryerson University needed to recreate their Talent Accelerator website to prepare for the launch of their latest addition; The Virtual Clinical Immersion Training Talent Accelerator.

They had already purchased the licensing for a Zoho Site and wanted to recreate the new platform to look and feel nearly identical to the last, with a few modernizations.

I worked closely with my friend and colleague, Graphic Designer, Katie Wilhelm, and the various Ryerson teams to delegate internal tasks, gather content and prepare for the new platform.  I recreated 50 pages of content with all original content, some old, and Katie created the new graphics.

Together we facilitated the project with weekly status meetings and regular communications between both us and the rest of the team, using the latest software. Once I completed the customizations to the menus and page headers, the project was complete and ready for the hand-off.

While we were presented with a few challenges along the way, in team scheduling, as well as a few design changes and some adjustments to functionality, the website was launched successfully!  The clients came back with one final adjustment and I made the fix as per their request.

The recreation was a success, and we stayed within budget.  The project was handed over to the team, where they continue to update their content at their leisure.
